If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Indianola Academy. They and Park Place Christian Academy go head to head on Friday at 7:00 PM in their first playoff contest of the year. Indianola Academy know how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Park Place Christian Academy like a good challenge.

Indianola Academy didn't have too much trouble with Lee Academy last Friday as they won 40-20. The Indianola Academy offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the match anyway.

Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout in their game two weeks ago against Central Hinds Academy, Park Place Christian Academy were happy to find some success last Friday. Park Place Christian Academy were able to grind out a solid win over Porter's Chapel Academy, winning 21-14.
