Chatham Charter extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 11-7 in the process. Everything went their way against the Clover Garden School Grizzlies as they made off with an 8-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Luke Johnson made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over 4.2 innings pitched. Johnson was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Garrison Clark was excellent, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Tyner Williams was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
