Pueblo lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jorge Franco, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Franco has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was David Hernandez, who scored 13 points.
Pueblo has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Desert Vista, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
