The Glenwood Springs Demons's 17-8 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were just a bucket shy of victory  on Friday and fell  48-47 to Resurrection Christian. Glenwood Springs has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Several Demons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Sim Wenger, who  scored 16 points. The  matchup was  Wenger's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Argeny Renteria, who  scored 16 points along with seven  rebounds and three  steals.
 Resurrection Christian got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Ty Yoder out in front who  scored 13 points along with six  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Marcus Phillips, who  scored eight points along with eight  rebounds.
 Glenwood Springs' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Resurrection Christian, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with that  victory, which was their 17th straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Glenwood Springs won't have much time to rest: their next  matchup is against Campbell County at 10:00  a.m.  on December 16th. Hopefully Campbell County focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 13 on Friday. Resurrection Christian won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against East at 1:00  p.m.  on December 16th. East is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
