Edgewood took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 50-26 margin over the Pineapple Cove Classical Academy Patriots. Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caudly Dieudonne, who put up six points along with eight boards and three blocks. Chris Guardia Valverde was another key player, putting up four points.
Edgewood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 53-36 defeat against Astronaut on the 19th. As for Pineapple Cove Classical Academy, they will take on Odyssey Charter School at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
