The Parkview Baptist Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Vandebilt Catholic Terriers at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Parkview Baptist sitting on three straight wins and Vandebilt Catholic on eight.
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Parkview Baptist had no problem doing just that on Monday. They never let the Cardinals onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. Parkview Baptist's winning goal came courtesy of Kohl Feucht.
Meanwhile, Vandebilt Catholic was able to grind out a solid victory over De La Salle on Wednesday, taking the game 2-0. Vandebilt Catholic's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last seven games.
Parkview Baptist's win bumped their record up to 11-4-5. As for Vandebilt Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2-4 record this season.
Parkview Baptist might still be hurting after the 5-0 loss they got from Vandebilt Catholic in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Parkview Baptist avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
