Meanwhile, Royal Oak came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Yellowjackets with a sharp 11-1 win. Considering the Ravens have won nine contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Josh Adler made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Adler was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Payden Morrison, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Silas Burbridge, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Royal Oak pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games.
