Cavalier took a serious blow against Drayton/Valley-Edinburg on Friday, falling 62-33. Cavalier has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Brooke Gullickson was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 22 points along with 7 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacey Nelson, who scored 13 points.
Cavalier's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Drayton/Valley-Edinburg, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cavalier will face off against Park River/Fordville-Lankin at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Drayton/Valley-Edinburg, they will head out on the road to face off against Hillsboro/Central Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
