Shanksville Stonycreek's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christian Musser, who scored 12 points along with seven assists and three steals. Musser is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Grant Boozer was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds.
Shanksville Stonycreek's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Blacklick Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shanksville Stonycreek will take on Rockwood at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Rockwood is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses. As for Blacklick Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ferndale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Ferndale focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Wednesday.
