Spring Garden's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Ragland Purple Devils as they made off with a 55-33 win. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Purple Devils: they've now won six in a row.

Spring Garden was led to victory by Brady Ruark and Zane Edwards. Ruark rushed for 104 yards and two TDs on only 12 carries, while Edwards gained 67 total yards.

A'Ron Lee and Tre Bothwell certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Lee rushed for 155 yards and a pair of scores on only 14 carries, while Bothwell picked up 196 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Bothwell really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 80 yards.

Spring Garden now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Ragland, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Spring Garden will venture away from home to face off against Woodville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ragland, they will face off against Southeastern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
