 Meanwhile, Wake Prep Academy entered their tilt with Thales Academy Rolesville with four consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Knights by a score of  12-7  on Thursday.
 Wake Prep Academy let  Emma Chambers and  Emmy Kirby loose on the outfield. Chambers  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 4-for-5, while  Kirby  scored three  runs and  stole four bases while going 2-for-5. Chambers has been hot recently, having posted three or more  hits the last five times she's  played.  Lily Ring was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while going 2-for-5.
 Franklinton pushed their record up to 3-2 with that  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.0 runs per game. As for Wake Prep Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
