Chandler has won four straight games at home, while Hamilton has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Wolves will welcome the Huskies at 7:00 p.m. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 885 yards in their previous games.
Chandler is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Pinnacle, who was ranked ninth at the time (Chandler was ranked fourth). The Wolves snuck past the Pioneers with a 28-22 victory on Friday.
It was another big night for Will Mencl, who threw for 338 yards and one touchdown while completing 73% of his passes, and also rushed for 44 yards and a pair of TDs. A healthy portion of Mencl's aerial production (92 yards to be exact) went to Skyler Ormita.

Chandler didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Austin Reese and Kamari Crawford. Reese also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 13.
Meanwhile, Hamilton got themselves on the board against Cesar Chavez on Thursday, but Cesar Chavez never followed suit. They breezed past the Champions to the tune of 63-0. Considering the Huskies have won eight matchups by more than 35 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Chandler better keep an eye on Jacob Brown. He was instrumental in Hamilton's win, rushing for 124 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Another signal caller making a difference was Jax Sculley, who threw for 165 yards and three TDs on only 15 passes.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hamilton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 207 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cesar Chavez only rushed for 31.
Chandler's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Hamilton, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.
The upcoming game will be a clash of competing strengths. Chandler has deployed a run-first offense that has averaged 170.7 rushing yards a game. Meanwhile, Hamilton has preferred to attack from the air: they average 328.4 passing yards per game. So which strategy will prevail on Friday? There's only one way to find out.
Chandler was dealt a bruising 56-14 loss at the hands of Hamilton when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Wolves, Rich Lucero Jr. (who threw for 373 yards and five touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 47 yards and one score) won't be suiting up this time.
