 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Rmara Atkins, who  scored a  run and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Brayden Fisher, who  scored a  run and  stole three bases while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Obama Academy of International Studies never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by  a  10-0 margin over Winchester Thurston. That's two games straight that Obama Academy of International Studies has won by  exactly ten  runs.
 Carrick's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Obama Academy of International Studies, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 2-0.
