After two games on the road, Diller-Odell is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet  the Fairbury Jeffs at 7:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Nebraska (Diller-Odell is ranked 135th, while Fairbury is ranked 133rd).
 Last Friday, Diller-Odell was able to grind out a solid  win over Lewiston, taking the game  37-29. The  win was just what Diller-Odell needed coming off of a  68-30 defeat in their prior  game.
 Diller-Odell's success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Cooper Morgan, who  scored nine points along with 12  rebounds and four  steals, and   Zachary Warren, who  dropped  a double-double on 13 points and 13  rebounds. Morgan also  posted two  blocks for the first time this season.
 Meanwhile, Fairbury's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a  60-23 loss at the hands of Crete. Fairbury was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  42-6.
 Fairbury's  loss came about despite a quality game from  Blake Starr, who  scored ten points along with six  rebounds.
 Diller-Odell's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Fairbury, they bumped their record down to 3-4 with that  loss, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Tuesday's  match is shaping up to be a scrappy  game:  Diller-Odell  have been smashing the glass this season,  having  only  averaged 30.7  rebounds per game. It's a different story for Fairbury, though, as  they've been averaging  only 26  rebounds per game. Given Diller-Odell's sizeable advantage in that area, Fairbury will need to find a way to close that gap.  Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
