The Boys Ranch Roughriders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 73-40 loss at the hands of Panhandle. Boys Ranch has not had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Boys Ranch lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Bulo Tyrie, who scored six points along with six rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Rex, who scored ten points.
Boys Ranch's defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Panhandle, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Boys Ranch will be playing at home against the Steers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Farwell presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Roughriders in Texas (the Steers are ranked 496th, while the Roughriders are ranked 1459th). As for Panhandle, they will head out on the road to face off against the Hornets at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
