The Pearce Mustangs's four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They strolled past MacArthur with points to spare, taking the game 51-32. The win was just what Pearce needed coming off of a 59-30 defeat in their prior matchup.
Kennedy Walters continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with six rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Pearce's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tatum Vroonland, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.
The victory got Pearce back to even at 12-12. As for MacArthur, they bumped their record down to 2-17 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pearce will stay at home for another game and welcome Berkner at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. MacArthur will take on Irving at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Irving is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
