Dominion Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emory Maiyer, who scored 22 points. Maiyer has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Jackson, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Dominion Christian's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game.
