Despite the loss, Alpaugh still got an impressive performance from Jesse Alcazar, who scored 10 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jesus Nunez, who scored 5 points along with 7 rebounds.
Kings Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Elyas Miro, who scored 21 points along with 6 steals. The matchup was Miro's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Ronnie Roche was another key contributor, scoring 23 points along with 3 steals.
Alpaugh's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Kings Christian, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
Alpaugh will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Riverdale at 10:30 a.m. on December 2nd. As for Kings Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wonderful College Prep Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Wonderful College Prep Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1087th, while Kings Christian is ranked 422nd).
