While the Trojans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bulldogs 25-23 in the first set.
North Pocono was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Berwick work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 26-24, 25-16, 14-25, 15-9.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Berwick to victory, but perhaps none more so than Julia Rauch, who had 15 digs, three kills, and a block. Rauch has been hot recently, having also posted 17 or more assists the last four times she's played. Angie Colone was another key player, getting 18 kills, 11 digs, and three aces.
North Pocono's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-2. As for Berwick, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.
As of now, neither North Pocono nor Berwick have any future games scheduled.
