The Tatum Eagles stacked a 19th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Elysian Fields 79-10 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Tatum sure is getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
Tatum pushed their record up to 24-1 with that win, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Elysian Fields, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-27.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tatum will face off against the Raiders at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. West Rusk will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1161st, while the Eagles are ranked 213th). As for Elysian Fields, they will head out on the road to take on the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
