After two weeks on the road, Todd County is heading back home. On Friday they take on St. Francis Indian at 7:00 PM. St. Francis Indian will need to watch out since Todd County have now posted big point totals in their last five contests.
Todd County put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They were fully in charge, breezing past McLaughlin 60-6. Senior Josh Rowland, who caught passes for 127 yards and 3 touchdowns, was a major factor in Todd County's success. Rowland has been a consistent playmaker for Todd County as this was the 3rd good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for St. Francis Indian, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to seven. They were given a punishing 0-52 loss at the hands of Bennett County.
Todd County's victory lifted them to 6-1 while St. Francis Indian's defeat dropped them down to 0-7. St. Francis Indian's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Todd County defensive front that amassed six sacks against McLaughlin, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
