Fans of the Spartans have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.
Madison Kenny made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Scholars Guild Academy got a massive performance out of Noelle Boeckman, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. That stolen base was Boeckman's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Alanna Maher, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Scholars Guild Academy pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Lyndon Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
