The DCP Alum Rock Lobos 's's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They blew past Cindy Avitia 61-23 at home. The victory was just what DCP Alum Rock needed coming off of a 73-32 loss in their prior matchup.
It was another big night for Tony Clarida, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of DCP Alum Rock's points. Another player making a difference was Isidro Cigarroa Fores, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals.
DCP Alum Rock's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Cindy Avitia, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
DCP Alum Rock will be playing at home against Luis Valdez Leadership Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cindy Avitia, they will head out on the road to face off against Mid-Peninsula at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
