The Harlem Bulldogs's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They snuck past Morgan County with a 57-53 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Harlem also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Leading Harlem to victory were Bj Reese and Lemar Edmond. Reese scored 14 points along with seven steals and six rebounds, while Edmond scored 17 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Horatio Shaffer iii, who scored six points along with two steals.
Harlem now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Morgan County, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.
Harlem will be playing at home against Hephzibah at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Harlem is on a three-game streak of home losses, Hephzibah a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. Morgan County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
