The Troup Tigers's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 52-26 margin over Elysian Fields. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Troup also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Several Yellowjackets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was McKenzie LeBlanc, who scored nine points. Kerrigan Love was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Troup's victory bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Elysian Fields, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-28.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Waskom the next time they take the court. Troup will head out to face the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Yellowjackets will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
