Ryan Perzanowski was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Perzanowski was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-5. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Noah Hoffer was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Gio Sisti, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

York Suburban has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.5 runs per game on average), something Kennard-Dale will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for New Oxford, they will square off against Dover at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
