For the second straight game, Waupun will face off against Ripon. The Warriors will host the Tigers at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Waupun is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.
On Tuesday, Waupun needed a bit of extra time to put away Ripon. They had just enough and edged out the Tigers 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted against the Tigers since April 27, 2021.

Logan Prall made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Prall was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Landen Larsen looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
Back at the plate, Chase Beahm was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Brennan Redeker was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Waupun kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in four consecutive games.
Waupun pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Ripon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
Ripon's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Waupun hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .366.
