Wheaton North waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the St. Charles North North Stars by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Saturday.

While Wheaton North won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-16.

Aidan Syswerda paced Wheaton North's offense, picking up 15 kills. Syswerda got some help from Trey Hubner and his 22 assists. Finally, Peter Dey kept Wheaton North's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Wheaton North's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for St. Charles North, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Coming up, Wheaton North will be playing at home against South Elgin at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons are facing the Storm at the right time seeing as the Storm are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for St. Charles North, they will head out on the road to challenge St. Francis at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
