Basketball Recap: Elida Piles Up the Points Against Lake Arthur

It was a proper cat-fight when Elida duked it out withLake Arthur on Thursday. The Elida Tigers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lake Arthur Panthers 71-15. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 27 points or more this season.

Elida's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Radlee Ferguson, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Blayne Bricker, who scored 14 points.

Elida now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Lake Arthur, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Elida has already played their next game, a 62-25 defeat against Legacy Academy on the 25th. Lake Arthur does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
