With a playoff game on the line, the Oakland Patriots rose to the challenge on Friday. Everything went their way against the Bears as they made off with a 38-17 victory. Oakland's win was all the more impressive since Bradley Central was averaging only 13.57 points allowed on the season.
Daune Morris continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 174 yards and four touchdowns. Ashton Jones and his 85 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Oakland's victory.
The last time Oakland lost on the road was back back in August. Having now won seven straight away matchups, they've pushed their record up to 12-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.7 points per game. As for Bradley Central, their defeat ended a eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-1.
Oakland is on the road again on December 2nd and play against Houston at 7:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Houston is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Bradley Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
