The Sherrard Tigers won against the Monmouth-Roseville Titans last Friday with 55 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Sherrard secured a 55-51 W over Monmouth-Roseville. The win made it back-to-back wins for Sherrard.
Monmouth-Roseville lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jake Steele, who scored 14 points. Steele is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Nico Avendano was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Sherrard's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 18-6. As for Monmouth-Roseville, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sherrard will take on Kewanee at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Monmouth-Roseville, they will be playing at home against Orion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
