While Southwest Christian put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Litchfield. The Stars came out on top against the Dragons by a score of 5-0. For the Stars, this counts as revenge for the 4-1 victory the Dragons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Southwest Christian let Melvin Maldonado and Ben Lindberg run wild. Maldonado went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double, while Lindberg went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. That's the most doubles Lindberg has posted since back in April.

Southwest Christian's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-6. As for Litchfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Southwest Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Litchfield, they will head out on the road to challenge Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
