Basketball Game Preview: Oak Forest Warriors vs. DASH United

Oak Forest has gone a perfect 5-0 against DASH recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Warriors will challenge the United at 6:30 p.m. Oak Forest is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.8 points per game this season.

Last Friday, Oak Forest didn't have too much trouble with Hilltop Christian as they won 54-38. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Oak Forest got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryder Zingelmann out in front who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 16 boards. Zingelmann's big performance that evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Jack Hunter, who shot 45% from the field en route to 16 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, DASH strolled past Fayetteville O with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 75-59. The United haven't had any issues with the Outliers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Oak Forest better keep an eye on Carter Adams. He was instrumental in DASH's win, going 11-for-19 to rack up 34 points. With that strong performance, Adams is now averaging an impressive 18 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Judd, who shot 43% from the field on his way to 15 points.

Oak Forest's record now sits at 7-1. As for DASH, their record is now 6-0.

Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest-scoring teams around. Oak Forest hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 63.8 points per game. However, it's not like DASH struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 74 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can put up more.

Oak Forest beat DASH 82-71 when the teams last played back in February. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Judd, who went 10-for-16 en route to 35 points and three steals.
