Northridge barely beat Box Elder the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights blew past the Bees 16-10 on Monday. The Knights not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 27th (when they won 10-4).

That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Northridge is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Woods Cross, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Northridge hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.4 home runs per game. However, it's not like Woods Cross struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.7 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Northridge couldn't quite get it done against Woods Cross when the teams last played back in May of 2024 as they fell 5-0. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
