The third road match was the charm for the Parkway South Patriots, as they earned their first road win of the season. They blew past Paseo Academy of Performing Arts 67-31 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Parkway South has managed all season.
It was another big night for Eddie Ahearn, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds. The matchup was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Ryan Shanfeld was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three steals.
Parkway South has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for Paseo Academy of Performing Arts, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkway South will be home for the holidays to greet Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Paseo Academy of Performing Arts will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Metro Academy on January 30, 2024.
