In what's become a running theme this season, the Kathleen Red Devils gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They breezed by Bartow at home to the tune of 59-14. The victory was nothing new for Kathleen as they're now sitting on five straight.
It was another big night for Dariasia Pitts, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kayden Gause, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Bartow struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Kathleen racked up ten assists.
Kathleen pushed their record up to 13-5 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.9 points per game. As for Bartow, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kathleen will face off against George Jenkins at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully George Jenkins focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Thursday. As for Bartow, they will head out on the road to take on Mulberry at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mulberry is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 53.9 points per game.
