Faustina Academy won the last time they faced Flint Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Faustina Academy Falcons blew past the Flint Academy Falcons 66-24. Faustina Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Faustina Academy found their leader in sophomore Marcos Mollo, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Mollo is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Joseph Cook, who posted eight points and four steals.

Faustina Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Flint Academy only posted six assists.

Flint Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ben Carlton, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 boards. That was a full 37.5% of Flint Academy's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Josh Carlton was another key player, putting up five points and nine rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Faustina Academy and bumps their season record up to 6-2. As for Flint Academy, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Dallas Academy the next time they take the court. Faustina Academy will head out to face Dallas Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Flint Academy will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
