After losing to Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley the last time they met, Monticello decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Sages walked away with a 2-0 win over the Falcons on Sunday.

Monticello's victory bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16.

Coming up, Monticello will head out to challenge Prairie Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, they will host Watseka at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
