Brooklyn Center suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Columbia Heights, falling 85-49.
Meanwhile, Roosevelt pushed their score all the way to 67 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were the victim of a rough 92-67 loss at the hands of North Community.
Roosevelt's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Avery Wells, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and five steals, and Obie Esparza who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Steven Hunter, who scored nine points along with five assists and three steals.
Brooklyn Center's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Roosevelt, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
Brooklyn Center came up short against Roosevelt in their previous matchup back in December of 2018, falling 67-61. Can Brooklyn Center avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
