The Antelope Titans can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat River Valley 72-42 on the road. Given Antelope's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while River Valley is ranked 745th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Antelope found their leader in underclassman SirMister Harriel, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Aj Cook, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Antelope is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for River Valley, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.
Antelope will be playing in front of their home fans against Roseville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Roseville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday. As for River Valley, they will head out on the road to challenge Woodcreek at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Woodcreek will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
