After a string of four wins, the Fremont Packers's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Whitehall, falling 80-31. Fremont has struggled against Whitehall recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Camden Thompson was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with eight rebounds and six steals for Whitehall. Thompson is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Trannon Aylor was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Fremont's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Whitehall, they pushed their record up to 11-0 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
Fremont will head out on the road to square off against Manistee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Whitehall, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Orchard View at 7:00 p.m. Orchard View will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings (they are ranked 506th, while Whitehall is ranked 13th).
