Another player making a difference was  Madie Allen, who  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-2.
 Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Regis, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  back in April. Everything went their way against Mohawk last Tuesday as Regis made off with  a  21-7 win. Regis' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Santiam's victory was  their seventh straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 14-4. As for Regis, they now  have a winning record of 5-4.
 Santiam took their  win against Regis  in their previous meeting  back in April by a conclusive  18-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Santiam since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
