Edgewood is 1-8 against the Cobras since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Edgewood Rams will be playing at home against the Harford Tech Cobras at 6:45 p.m. Edgewood will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
Last Monday, Edgewood had just enough and edged the Cougars out 50-47.
Meanwhile, Harford Tech didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Eagles on Monday, but they still walked away with a 31-26 victory.
Harford Tech's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jessica Castro led the charge by scoring seven points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Mace, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds.
Edgewood has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Harford Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.
Everything came up roses for Edgewood against the Cobras when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 61-19 win. Will Edgewood repeat their success, or do the Cobras have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
