Softball Recap: Concord Wins Going Away Against William Penn

While Concord put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for William Penn. The Raiders were the clear victors by a 19-0 margin over the Colonials. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Concord has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for William Penn, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Concord will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Odyssey Charter at 3:30 p.m. on May 2. As for William Penn, they will face off against Newark Charter School at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
