This season hasn't been kind to The Sharpstown Apollos, who are still winless after their tenth matchup. They were the victim of a tough 26-6 loss at the hands of Northside on Saturday. Sharpstown was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Northside apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Sharpstown's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Django Stroman, who rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown. Stroman was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 52 yards.
Even if they lost, Sharpstown's defense still kept up the pressure with five sacks. Leading the way was Stroman and his two sacks.
Sharpstown's loss was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), which bumped their record down to 0-10. As for Northside, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-8.
Sharpstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Northside also has no future games currently scheduled.
