Moberly extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 26-7 in the process. They blew past the Marshall Owls 8-1. Considering the Spartans have won 15 games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Marshall, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-19 record this season. Their defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

For Marshall's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Griffit, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Moberly does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marshall, they are taking a road trip to challenge Boonville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
