The Florida School for the Deaf & Blind Dragons and the University Christian Christians will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Florida School for the Deaf & Blind is no doubt hoping to put an end to an 11-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Florida School for the Deaf & Blind won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Wednesday. They were dealt a 52-13 loss at the hands of Stanton.
Meanwhile, University Christian was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 51-50 to the Raiders. University Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, University Christian saw an underclassman step up: King Sanders scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sanders has scored all season. Adalbert Allotey was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Florida School for the Deaf & Blind's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for University Christian, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-10.
Florida School for the Deaf & Blind took a serious blow against the Christians in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 88-47. Can Florida School for the Deaf & Blind avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
