The Park Crossing Thunderbirds and the Russell County Warriors squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but sadly the Park Crossing Thunderbirds had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 54-51. Park Crossing's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Despite the loss, Park Crossing still got an impressive performance from Jayden Scott, who scored 19 points along with four steals. Scott is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Caden Anderson-teal, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and five blocks.
Park Crossing's defeat dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Russell County, their victory bumped their record up to 17-10.
Park Crossing does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Russell County also has no future games currently scheduled.
