After a string of three wins, the First State Military Academy Bulldogs's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They suffered a tough 28-6 loss at the hands of Indian River. First State Military Academy has not had much luck with Indian River recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Leading Indian River to victory were Darnell Stokes and Jayvion W chandler. Stokes gained 66 total yards and two touchdowns, while W chandler rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns.
First State Military Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Indian River, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.
First State Military Academy will head out on the road to face off against Tatnall at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
