The Landmark Christian War Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Northgate Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Landmark Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 11 contests -- so hopefully Northgate likes a good challenge.
Even though Callaway scored an imposing 57 points on Friday, Landmark Christian still came out on top. Landmark Christian walked away with a 68-57 victory over Callaway.
It was another big night for Blake Pollock, who scored 24 points. The game was his seventh in a row with at least ten points. Riley Saunders was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, Northgate pushed their score all the way to 56 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 65-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Douglass.
Landmark Christian pushed their record up to 8-3 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points per game. As for Northgate, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
